About our Signs

We hand craft our signs one at a time from rough cut cedar.

That means they are not smooth like pine but have been sanded down some to take off a bit of the roughness.

Our signs are meant to be rustic and primitive and by nature that is how rough cut cedar is.

Therefore our signs will not be perfect unless you count perfectly prim .

They will be more rustic in nature and have knots, rough spots, possibly a crack here or there and maybe a slight warp to the board.

This caused by the by the shrinking of the wood as it drys and are not to be considered flawed.

I do my best to make sure I don`t send anything that i myself would not buy.

However like I said they are not all going to be perfect.

I do my best to make sure that the cedar is dry enough to work with but at times nature just doesn`t cooperate with me and they shrink more after they have been produced and may have the above mentioned rustic characteristics.

My signs are also not sealed with any preservatives therefore if displayed outside in an unprotected area they will fade, peel or possible crack from the elements.

So please give my signs a protected area if displaying them outdoors.
